ILLUMINATING YOUR PASSION

While attending my junior year at SUNY New Paltz in 2011, I served as co-founder, designer, copy editor and photographer for the first women’s magazine on campus. Avant-Garde Magazine was not only an extracurricular club, we were a community. We held events to promote positive body image and comradery on and off campus that empowered women and united students.

As the sole graphic designer, I designed the first 4 issues and regularly attended events to photograph my own content.
